Q:  How do we get to Descanso Gardens Rose Pavillion?
A:  Nestled in the foothills of the majestic San Gabriel Mountains in La Cañada, Descanso Gardens is easily accessible from the 2 or 210 freeways and is conveniently located just 20 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Burbank. Please click Here for a map.
 
Q:  What will be in bloom at Descanso Gardens?
A:  Modern and Heritage roses, annuals and perennials, native plants, azaleas, iris, rhododendrons, wisteria, and dogwood.
 
Q:  Can we come early, before 5:00 pm, to tour the Gardens?
A:  While Descanso Gardens has an admittance fee, general $6 and seniors $2, as a guest of Steve & Heidi's wedding you will be able to arrive at 5:00 pm without paying the entrance fee. However, if you wish to arrive before 5:00 pm to tour the Gardens, you will need to pay the admission fee.
 
Q:  Where should we park?
A:  There will be plenty of parking in the main lot.
 
Q:  Will there be dinner and dancing following the ceremony?
A:  Yes, there will be drinks after the ceremony followed by a sit down dinner and in keeping with the 1930's theme of their wedding and celebration, Heidi & Steve's favorite musicians, the Reynolds Brothers, will be playing 1930's hot jazz for your listening and dancing enjoyment.
 
Q:  What is the difference between the Rose Gardens & the Rose Pavillion?
A:  The wedding will be in the Rose Gardens under an open sky and on grass. Dinner, dancing and festivities will be in the nearby Pavillion, which is a building with a roof but no walls so that you can continue to enjoy the beauty of the Gardens.
 
Q:  Who are Steve & Heidi's wedding party?
A:  Steve & Heidi will be married by Andre Salvage. Steve's best man is Scott Boepple and Heidi's maid of Honor is Stephanie Page.
 
Q:  May we bring our children?
A:  Steve & Heidi are very sorry but they have chose to not invite children to their wedding so please respect their wishes and do not bring your children. They hope you can understand and you will still attend to celebrate their very special day.

A:  We have placed holds on rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn in Arcadia at 199 North Second Avenue, only 15 miles from Descanso Gardens, you can see a map Here. Q:  Since this is an outdoor wedding will we be able to smoke?
A:  Please understand that Descanso does not allow smoking because the tobacco causes harm to the flowers and plants and we will be fined if people smoke in the Gardens.
 
Q:  Since this is an outdoor wedding will jeans and shorts be alright?
A:  Thiis is a semi-formal event, which is generally regarded as dark suits for men and dresses or pant suits for women.
